Fifth Chukker  is published by Fifth Chukker Polo & Country Club, a private-public partnership representing the new in the old world of the equestrian sport of polo in Nigeria, Africa.

Producing two issues a year the publication offer brands an opportunity to connect with guests of the resort. Seen as a branding exercise to deliver a wealth of informative content, it has quickly gained a respectable foothold among readers and advertisers alike.

A unique challenge was the publisher, the editor, its contributors, our production team and the printers are all located in different continents; many have never met face-to-face. However, it certainly doesn’t stop publishing a magazine to expected standards and within a defined budget.

Content is commissioned and organised by the editor, who remains in close contact with us. Funnelling content allows for little cross-communication, enabling us to easily produce pages for the client. The proofing process is shared amongst key team members between the UK and Nigeria. With artwork approval, compliant-PDF files are uploaded to a printer in South Africa. Once prepress has processed the files, we remotely check and approve them here in the UK. After the magazine has been printed, it is delivered to the resort in Kaduna, Nigeria.
