Aircraft IT is a global portal for information technology for partners, suppliers and buyers of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and airline operations. Aircraft IT MRO is a free-to-reader publication with advertising supporting the editorial, production and hosting.

Since 2010, the publisher of Aircraft IT wanted to provide key information as a packaged resource to provide opportunities for industry personnel to supply case studies and white papers.

With readers constantly on the move globally and rarely operating from a single address, a digital-based publication was the answer.

Quality, in-depth case study and white paper content was the primary function. It ran alongside regular features, webinars and industry news. We were aware that attention spans are limited with online publications; therefore, we designed a format to match it. We felt the content needed to be digestible to read, even using small-screened devices, such as iPads. Employing hyperlinks and embedding video, the magazine allowed direct access to additional resources within the publisher’s website or directly to the websites of its advertisers.

As a result, the read rate commands an excellent average read time, and the publication continues to attract further advertising support.
